The official website of Horimiya announced that the anime will release on 9th Jan 2021 on BS11, Gunma TV, Tochigi TV, & Tokyo MX.

Horimiya has previously received 4 OVAs. The OVAs were released one by one in 2012, 2014, 2015, & 2018.
The decision of the anime series was announced in September 2020. It is animated by studio Cloverworks.
Horimiya is one of the cutest romance manga out there. The chemistry between the protagonists is very endearing.
