The 12th Haruhi Suzumiya Novel will be released on November 25 after a nine-year-long break. It will be available to pre-order on September 1.
The novel collects three stories, including one brand-new story. This time the story picks up where 2011's The Surprise of Haruhi Suzumiya left off.
Titled The Intuition of Haruhi Suzumiya, the novel features the short stories Seven Wonders Overtime and Guesswork Numbers.
The new story is titled "Tsuruya-san no Chōsen" (Tsuruya's Challenge). In it, the SOS Brigade gets an email with a challenge from Tsuruya.
A new Twitter account has been opened for the series. Reservation pages will start to open following the opening hours of real bookstores.
Haruhi Suzumiya is an iconic light novel series of the early 2000's by Nagaru Tanigawa and illustrated by Noizi Ito. The first novel was published in 2003.
The series changed the Japanese book industry and helped redefine anime with The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya TV anime series from Kyoto Animation.
