Gintama: The Semi-Final: Jan 2021

Gintama’s author, Hideaki Sorachi, has been infamous for trolling his fans into thinking that the series was ending.
But, with about 20 chapters left to cram into a single movie, the franchise has decided to release 2 special EP, titled ‘Gintama the Semi-Final.’
dTV service revealed a trailer for Gintama The Semi-Final. They will be broadcasted from dTV on Jan 15 & 20.
The trailer features the special’s OP titled “I Wanna Be” by SPYAIR. They will be an introduction to, “Gintama: The Final,” releasing on Jan 8.
The film will be mainly based on the original manga’s finale, with some new elements added to it. It could be the adaptation of the Silver Soul arc.
