As the Tokyo Olympics finally kicks off in Japan, the event draws crowds from everywhere to their screen!
The International Olympic Committee began streaming the anime short"Tomorrow's Leaves," to commemorate the Tokyo 2020 Olympics
The Ghibli resemblance is primarily due to the influence of the director Yoshiyuki Momose, who closely worked on Grave of the Fireflies.
Tomorrow's Leaves first premiered at the opening ceremony of the Annecy Festival on 14th June.
