Mr. Osomatsu

Looking back, Mr. Osomatsu used to be one of the weirdest yet hilarious anime that aired in the early 90s.
Recently at the "Fes Matsu-san '21" event, official sources announced that the Mr. Osomatsu franchise will receive two new anime works.
They will have limited screening in Japanese theatres in 2022 and 2023, respectively.
The new theatrical releases will commemorate the 6th anniversary of the Mr. Osomatsu series.
The reboot series features more adult-oriented humor in comparison to the original anime.
There is still some possibility that Crunchyroll or Viz will get the rights to the digital distribution of the series.
With so many new projects announced one after the other, we can rest assured that the anime series will not be going anywhere soon.
