Funimation, one of the largest anime streaming websites in the world, is facing a lawsuit.

The plaintiff is a legally blind woman, Jenisa Angeles, who accuses Funimation of being discriminative towards people with disabilities.

She has reportedly visited “shop.funimation.com” multiple times for making a purchase, but the features of the website hindered her from using it.

According to the lawsuit, Funimation engaged in acts of intentional discrimination.

She has also proposed a fine to be paid to the class and sub-classes whose rights have been violated by the website. A trial by jury is also requested.
