Premiere in January

The official website for the Ex-Arm TV anime revealed the main staff before the premiere in January 2021. The anime will use 3DCG animation technique.

The anime had been postponed from July due to the coronavirus pandemic. Crunchyroll will stream the anime as a Crunchyroll Original.

The main voice actors of the anime are Soma Saito as Akira Natsume, Mikako Komatsu as Minami Uezono and Akari Kito as Arma.

Yoshikatsu Kimura will make his directorial debut with the anime at the new animation Studio Visual Flights, following the script by Tommy Morton.

Created by Shinya Komi and HiRock, the Ex-Arm manga began serialization in 2015. The manga ended in 2019 with 14 tankobon volumes.
