When it comes to manga and Japanese culture, no country craves it more than France.
French President Emmanuel Macron announced that he recently received an original One Piece illustration by the mangaka, Eiichiro Oda.
This event comes under the context of the President’s new policy of “Pass Culture.”
A scheme through which people under the age of 18 will receive 300 euros to be spent on “culture.”
The French market for manga is sure to grow even more extensive, and it would seem that One Piece will want to have a piece of that pie.
