The Dragon Quest franchise has announced that its second anime series Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibouken will premiere on October 3rd, 2020.
The first anime adaptation was Dragon Quest: Legend of the Hero Abel produced by Toei Animation. Toei has released a TV commercial announcing the release.
The band Macaroni Enpitsu will perform the series’ upbeat and inspiring opening theme song “Ikiru o Suru”. A new visual has also been released.
The anime is based on Dragon Quest: Dai no Daibōken, a manga adaptation of the Dragon Quest game written by Riku Sanjou and illustrated by Koji Inada.
