“Violet Evergarden: The Movie” was one of the successful anime films last year.
But due to the coronavirus pandemic, it saw a limited theatrical release.
The official website has announced that the new release date of the anime film’s DVD and Blu-ray is October 13.
Due to Japan’s state of emergency, there has been a delay in the manufacturing process of the discs.
It has been delayed twice, first due to the Kyoto Animation arson attack and later due to the coronavirus pandemic.
We hope that the film distributors can release the discs on the rescheduled date without any further problems
