We’ve seen various anime from the comedy genre, but have you seen one based on aspiring comedians? Well, if not, then Teppen—!!! is here to give you a zest of it.
The anime is scheduled to premiere on July 2022. The trailer teases the OP, “Teppen Tengoku ~TOP OF THE LAUGH!!!~,” and also gives a glimpse of the characters.
The new visual highlights 15 characters that will be featured in the anime, which is the same number of exclamation points used in the show’s official title Teppen—!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Celebri-Tea, is a comedy group that represents the Tōkai region. They are Mako Shirakabe, Saeka Yabukita, and Hikari Jogasaki.
Okurade О̄koku group represents the Kantō region with its members – Hina Kasama, Miyu Komatsuzaki, and Misao Ushiku.
The group Shinryakusha with its members – Chihori Hokuto, Yuina Rokkatei, and Mone Ishiya represents the Hokkaido area.
Dangan Kunoichi group that represents the Kansai area consists of Iroha Akishika, Kana Kiyotsuru, and Chitose Amano.
With all of the comedy groups representing various regions in Japan, I’m fascinated to know how they will bring in humor with their dialects.
