Boruto Chapter 55: Spoilers & Theories

Boruto 55 is out, & Naruto just lost his oldest family, Kurama! It is not just Naruto who has lost something precious as we lament Sasuke’s Rinnegan.
As the chapter starts, Naruto thinks he is dead, but Kurama consoles him. Kurama confesses that they could pull off Baryon due to their connection.
Typically, when a tailed beast is extracted, the host dies, but Naruto will not die as the Baryon mode has exhausted only Kurama’s chakra.
Naruto requests the others to open a space-time portal to return home. As Boruto glances over at Sasuke, who confesses that his Rinnegan is gone.
Isshiki appears out of the blue and instructs Code that after Isshiki’s death, he will inherit Otsutsuki.
His mission is to feed Kawaki and Boruto to the Ten-Tails and grow the Divine Tree. With Kurama and Rinnegan out of the way, Code’s mission is easy.
Will this chapter mark the end of Naruto and Sasuke’s role as untold heroes in Boruto: Naruto Next Generations?
