Blue Lock

On Hiatus Due to Artist’s Health

By Epic Dope Staff | October 8, 2021

The Blue Lock fanbase will have to sit tight and wait for the hit manga series to resume on October 27, 2021, as it is taking a break due to mangaka Yusuke Nomura’s sudden illness.

While details of his abrupt illness are not known, the official Twitter account of Kodansha’s Weekly Shonen Magazine updated and comforted the fans with a tweet.

A 3-week hiatus is considered a rather long break and we are sure to miss reading scenes that instill a sudden passion for soccer within us.

But health comes first and Yusuke Nomura’s recovery is as vital as a goal in soccer in the manga.

As it goes with every serialized manga series, a break simply promises a better, well-executed set of chapters.

Wouldn’t you want more high-intensity, battle royale equivalent scenes featuring our favorite Team Z? We know we would!

Let’s hang tight and wait for the latest chapter of Blue Lock to premiere on October 27, 2021.
