In Chapter 261 of Black Clover, Nacht, the vice-captain of the Black Bulls, was shown overpowering Asta using shadow hands.
Nacht’s devil is named Guimero and is seen seated on Nacht’s shoulder, suggesting a closer bond between them unlike other devils and their humans.
Guimero’s power seems to be shadow manipulation as in the previous chapters including the last one, Nacht was shown using shadows.
The previous chapter had posed doubts about whether Nacht was a friend or a foe. But in chapter 262, Nacht offers to help Asta gain more power.
Black Clover is a Japanese manga by Yuki Tabata. It began its serialization in the Weekly Shonen Jump from February 2015.
