Arc Debuts With Episode 142

Black Clover anime has just introduced a brand new original arc after the training arc. The new arc debuted with episode 142 on 8th September.
As the anime has caught up with the manga, the filler episodes and the original arc will provide some leeway for Tabata to complete his manga.
The arc features new characters Bou Nokude and Dazu Tayak who seek to get rid of devils. They hold Asta and Secre responsible for an attack on Tiulyu Town.
When the trial of Asta is delayed, Bou and Dazu start recruiting people who share their agenda. They call their group the Devil Banishers.
The Devil Banishers attack the Black Bulls base to capture Asta and Secre. However, due to Noelle’s interruption, they only manage to take Secre.
Reportedly, Tabata is involving himself in the production of the original arc due to disagreements between him and the anime staff over the filler episodes.
