Other countries have developed technology that can surpass the power of the titans. So, Zeke suggests going back to Paradis & recover the 2 lost titans.
If the Paradis Island Operation is successful, it will add a few more years to the Marleyan military. But, the last three missions have unsuccessful.
Reiners's PTSD: After his long mission, his demeanor has changed. He shares his experience at Paradis with his family.
Instead of condemning them, he says that he has met “all sorts of people” there, humanizing the people living on Paradis, which confuses Gabi.
Reiner knows deep inside that he shared camaraderie with the Paradisians. This is a person who has realized the truth behind a glorified lie.
