Black Clover 272 teases a transformation of Asta merged with Liebe.
Nacht can merge with his devils, not only does that give him a cool get-up but also an unimaginable amount of power.
Nacht believes that once Asta is able to reach this stage, he can become even more powerful than Nacht himself.
As a last resort, Nacht had to push Asta & his devil to the extreme by using the Dark Prison Hunting Ground Mana Zone.
In the sheer heat of the moment, a flash of light was seen, followed by the opening of Asta’s eye.
