Aoashi, the beloved soccer manga, is prepped up for its anime debut, and its release date is nearer than you realize.

It will be released on April 9, 2022. Although no international streaming website has picked it up yet, I’m sure it will announce the good news soon.

The new visual introduces all the Esperion Youth FC members. Ashito is at the very front, and director Tatsuya Fukuya is standing in the middle.

Tatsuya has handpicked every member of the youth club in the hopes of conquering the world with it.

The most challenging part will be to change his hyper-independent attitude. Before becoming a professional player, he needs to understand how to depend on his teammates.

The unexpected tactics of Ashito make up for a good laugh, and as a comedy fan, I look forward to seeing how the anime wins over otakus.
