Deku has been continuously over-exerting himself since the last few chapters of My Hero Academia.
In the midst of swearing to protect everyone, Deku meets Dictator, an assassin who has escaped from Tartarus.
As Izuku is surrounded by the mob, his eyes lose focus, and he doesn’t attack because he can’t hurt civilians.
The powers of his vestiges that Izuku can currently use are too powerful and cannot be used in his situation.
Bakugo’s appearance is the ray of hope for Izuku as now it depends on him to haul out Izuku and restart his sense of survival.
My Hero Academia’s chapter 319 is on a one-week break and will be released on 4th July.
