‘Star Wars: Visions Volume 2’ Will Debut on Star Wars Day

Star Wars: Visions is one of the most successful animated series by the franchise solely because of its unique concept. The show’s first season was made up of nine animated shorts, all produced by various Japanese studios like Trigger, Production I.G., and more.

Recently the franchise announced the series’ second volume but kept the details under cover for a long time until now.

The official Star Wars website has confirmed that Star Wars: Visions volume 2 will debut on May 4, 2023, popularly known as Star Wars Day.

In addition, the franchise shared that this time the animated shorts will be produced by different studios worldwide.

You heard that right.

After a season filled with animation talent hailing from Japan, the franchise decided to give others a chance. This time, only one Japanese studio is participating in the series in collaboration with Lucasfilm.

The website has revealed the entire list of studios, the countries, and the title of the episode they will produce, and these are as follows:
