A new key visual has been recently released for Soukou Musume Senki (The War Record of Armored Girls.) It is an upcoming TV anime based on a series of RPG video games known as Little Battlers eXperience (Danbooru Senki in Japan), developed by Level-5.

Details about the anime’s production have currently not been released. However, it is known that the anime will not be following the storyline of the game. It will follow an original storyline and feature an original worldview and characters as compared to the game.

About Soukou Musume:

Also known as Armored Girls, it was an RPG game released in 2017, and a reboot of the game known as Soukou Musume – Mizel Crisis is slated for 2020 release.

The energy released from Seto’50 s explosion caused a dimensional rift, leading to a parallel world. In this parallel world, the governments troubled by the large scale terrorism decides to take a drastic step. The research and development scientists throughout the world came together. They reverse-engineered the LBX technology to create overpowered tech suits. These suits allowed users to unite with their LBX and form the Little Battle Counter System. These led to the formation of Elite Female squadrons who were assigned the tasks to subjugate these terrorists.

About Little Battlers eXperience

LBX is a series of action RPG video games created by Level-5, involving small models of robots made of plastic. These robots are known as LBXs (Little Battler eXperience), and they fight on cardboard dioramas. The main character creates his own LBX to battle against LBXs created by other characters.

The first game of the series was released on 16th June 2011 for PlayStation Portable and now has 6 official games with 3 anime series and a 4th one on the way.
