Seven Deadly Sins Season 3 Cour II DELAYED Due to COVID-19

The Seven Deadly Sins manga ended last March. Kodansha published the manga’s 41st and final volume on May 15. It has an ongoing anime series as well which doesn’t even come close to the manga’s quality due to its poor animation, which was a main reason behind a disappointing Season 3.

Season 3 was actually a split-cour season, and its second part, or Season 4 was scheduled for release in October.

A split-cour is like a double cour (two seasons back to back) with 24 -26 Episodes, but the second part broadcasts after a season break (E.g., Summer – Winter).

The production committee for The Seven Deadly Sins: Anger’s Judgment anime announced today that the scheduled broadcast and distribution date has been delayed. The step was taken due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic.

The official website and Twitter account of the anime will probably announce a new date soon. It will air on TV Tokyo’s six affiliate channels and BS-TV Tokyo.
