Seirei Tsukai no Bureidodansu, aka Bladedance of Elementalers, is a light novel series by Yū Shimizu and the anime adaptation was launched in 2014 which was directed by Tetsuya Yanagisawa.

The season 1 was released in 2014, since then there has been absolutely no news regarding the second season of the anime. The poor performance of the first season has been the main reason behind the absence of the news regarding season 2.
Maki Fujii, the anime producer expected the anime to be quite a hit and expected the light novel sales to sore high, however that didn’t prove to be the case.
The season 1 of the anime was produced by TNK Studio but there doesn’t seem to be any chance of the second season to be even made due to its poor performace.
About Seirei Tsukai no Blade Dance
The anime follows the story of a boy named Kamito Kazehay which takes place in a mystical world where spirits exist. However, until now only pure maidens could see these spirits.
Later the protagonist comes in contact with the sword spirit itself and becomes the only male Elementalist that exists. The events that follow afterward are what the story is about.
