Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles is an upcoming isekai anime with a twist! Yes, the protagonist is reborn in another world, but he has no idea about his past life!
Rio, the anime’s protagonist, slowly realizes that he had a past life. He is born in a cruel world where people use him because he is an orphan.
However, his magical ability ensures that he gets to join a magic school for nobles’ kids. How will he adapt to this new place and find out about his past life?
Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles anime will premiere in July 2021 on TV Tokyo and BS Fuji. A brand new trailer has been revealed for the upcoming anime! The series’ first game adaptation is also announced.
The trailer shows Rio getting glimpses of his past life when he was named Haruto. He also remembers the accident in which he died. Rio is handling his new school life, all the while fighting with himself.
It is a school full of rich kids, and while he has made some friends, many others don’t like his presence. The trailer also shows Rio’s relation with Latifa, the assassin turned adoptive sister of Rio.
A new visual has also been revealed for the anime.
The visual shows Rio and Latifa. Latifa was an assassin who was supposed to kill Rio. However, he was more powerful and freed her from her collar of submission. Latifa joined Rio on his journey as his sister.
“New Story” is the opening theme of the anime by Marika Kono. Aguri Onishi performs the ending theme, “Elder Flower.” The staff and Cast of the anime have been previously revealed.
Seirei Gensouki Another Tale is a new RPG that will feature the characters from the anime series. It can be played on smartphones, tablets and PCs.

Seirei Gensouki: Spirit Chronicles is a light novel series written by Yuri Kitayama and Riv. The novel got a manga adaptation around 2017. The novel presents the concept of reincarnation.
The story follows an orphan boy named Rio, the reincarnation of Haruto Amakawa, a Japanese university student. Slowly he discovers about the tragic death in his past life.
