Part of the reason for Next Dimension’s success is that it continues the story of the original Saint Seiya.

The manga has a different art style from its previous parts like Saint Seiya and Saint Seiya: Episode G (Assassin) which is somewhat refreshing and a nice twist to the classic.

The Next Dimension manga often goes on a hiatus, and this time it was a big one, due to mangaka Kurumada working on more than just one manga.

Saint Seiya is one huge franchise and the workload surely gets a lot when you’re the one creating the plot and illustrations for it all.

It has given us many spin-offs and anime based on that, and we fans still can’t get enough of it. Saint Seiya is what you can call a peculiar manga, way ahead of its time.

Nonetheless, to say, I am way too pumped up for Next Generations to resume!

About Saint Seiya

Saint Seiya, also known as Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac or simply Knights of the Zodiac, is a Japanese manga series written and illustrated by Masami Kurumada.

The manga was adapted into an anime television series by Toei Animation that ran from 1986 to 1989, before being continued in the form of three original video animation series between 2002 and 2008.

The story follows five mystical warriors called the Saints who fight wearing sacred sets of armor named “Cloths”.

The Saints have sworn to defend the reincarnation of the Greek goddess Athena in her battle against other Olympian gods who want to dominate Earth.
