Recently, Sailor Moon Eternal: The Movie debuted in theatres and another addition to the franchise has made fans more than happy.

With the traveling restrictions in place, going to Japan seems like a distant reality soon. Given the success of the previous Sailor Moon musicals and their US run, back in 2019, it is optimistic to think that people will be able to enjoy the show by the end of the year somehow.

Sailor Moon musicals have been running since 1993; each musical covers a story arc from the original manga. It is good to see the Kaguya arc finally being covered. It will be exciting to see what the next adaptation will be!

About Sailor Moon

Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn or Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is based on the anime of the same name.

It follows the story of a 14-year-old girl, Usagi Tsukino, who is clumsy and underachieving. One day, she encounters a magical talking cat named Luna, who gives her the ability to transform into her magical alter ego, Sailor Moon.

Reluctant towards this colossal transformation, Usagi soon accepts her fate as she goes on a quest to defeat the evil forces of the Dark Kingdom.

Through this experience, she makes friends, develops romance, and battles evil. Her adventures continue as the earth continues to face many threats as the series progresses.
