Sailor Moon Eternal The Movie is a two-part anime film that will be released in Japan in early 2021. It is a direct continuation of the Sailor Moon Crystal series.
As an otaku, it is very hard to not know about these teenage girls who discover their destiny of saving the world from evil. Not only is this series pretty and aesthetically pleasing, but it has also become a great companion to a lot of us.
The visual shows Sailor Moon and Queen Nehellenia reflected in the mirror. It is a very beautiful visual, as expected of the famed anime series.
Queen Nehellenia is the leader of the dark moon circus. Behind her gorgeous face is a villainess who is feared by all. Sailor Moon will have to fight Nehellenia in her mirror while the other Sailor Scouts damage the mirror from the outside.
Nehellenia’s target is the Silver Crystal that she will try to attain from time to time. Will the power of love between Sailor Moon and Tuxedo Mask be able to stop her?
The first film was set to premiere in September 2020 but it was delayed to January 2021 due to the Coronavirus pandemic. The second part of the film will be released on 11th February 2021.
The upcoming film is a direct continuation of Sailor Moon Crystal anime season four. It will cover the “Dead Moon” arc from the original manga. This movie will come out 25 years after the release of the last movie from the Sailor Moon franchise.
