Sailor Moon – the name itself induces nostalgia among all anime fans. This 1990s anime stole the hearts of girls and boys alike. The adventures of Usagi, Luna, and all the other Sailor Soldiers had the viewers hooked to the series.

A reboot of the Sailor Moon series called Sailor Moon Crystal started airing in 2014. Although it is a reboot, it omits much of the original plot and serves as a more concentrated version of the story. The Sailor Moon Crystal series has a total of 3 seasons so far.

Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal is a two-part anime film sequel to the Sailor Moon Crystal series. It adapts the Dead Moon arc from the manga.

The first film of the series was set for a September 2020 debut, which got delayed to 8th January 2021 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The second film will be released on February 11th, 2021.

The official website of Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon Eternal has announced additional cast members who will be playing the Amazon Trio. The Amazon Trio consists of Tiger’s Eye, Hawk’s Eye, and Fish Eye; they are the villains in the Dream arc.

Satoshi Hino (Demon Slayer’s Kyojuro Rengoku) will be playing Tiger’s Eye. Satoshi Hino describes Tiger’s Eye as someone who perfectly balances wildness with charm.

Hino grew up while being a fan of Tuxedo Mask in Sailor Moon and wants fans to look forward to the reactions of Tiger’s Eye.

Toshiyuki Toyonaga (Tokyo Ghoul’s Hideyoshi Nagachika) voices Hawk’s Eye. He tried his best to deliver the “pure feelings” of Hawk’s Eye, who has an unfulfilled dream.

As a child, Toyonaga was a fan of Sailor Jupiter, and he wishes fans can relive the nostalgia of the series together.

Shouta Aoi (My Next Life as Villainess’s Gerald Stuart) voices Fish Eye. Aoi is a famed solo performer who loves the character Fish Eye for her cool and cute charm.

His dream as a fan came true as he played Fish Eye, and he seems satisfied with his work in the recordings.

About Sailor Moon

Bishōjo Senshi Sērā Mūn or Pretty Guardian Sailor Moon is based on the anime of the same name.

It follows the story of a 14-year-old girl, Usagi Tsukino, who is clumsy and underachieving. One day, she encounters a magical talking cat named Luna, who gives her the ability to transform into her magical alter ego, Sailor Moon.

Reluctant towards this colossal transformation, Usagi soon accepts her fate as she goes on a quest to defeat the evil forces of the Dark Kingdom.

Through this experience, she makes friends, develops romance, and battles the evil. Her adventures continue as the earth continues to face many threats as the series progresses.
