Even if you can somehow watch all shows in a particular genre, there’s no way you can do the same for isekai. Their production seems never-ending, and almost all of them have similar stories like Saikyō Onmyōji no Isekai Tenseiki.
As usual, the story follows the world’s greatest diviner (Onmyōji), Haruyoshi, as he enchants a reincarnation spell on himself as he dies after being betrayed by his friends.
Rather than getting rebirth in the same world, Haruyoshi finds himself in another realm where he’s declared as having no magical ability.
It sounds crazy how the strongest became the weakest after getting isekai-d, but there’s more to this. And to tell you about that, the series is getting an anime adaptation.

Coming back to the story, the great diviner soon realizes that the magic in this new world is much weaker than what he had in his previous life. He sets out to live a comfortable life with his old tricks and powers.
Due to Haruyoshi’s exorcist powers, several yokai or spirits follow him everywhere.
This might seem creepy at first, but the ghosts are friendly and often help our protagonist. But sometimes, they do prove to be a hassle that Haruyoshi has to handle.
The light novel series is written by Kiichi Kosuzu and illustrated by Shiso. Even if the story is cliche, I can guarantee the visuals are excellent, making this one worth reading.
I know we’re all pretty done with the isekai genre, but there are still some decent ones out there like Saikyō Onmyōji no Isekai Tenseiki.
Also, one advantage of being an isekai fan is that you’ll never run out of shows similar to your favorite one.

It follows a powerful diviner Haruyoshi who casts a reincarnation spell before dying, and is reborn in another world without magical powers. He realizes that the magic here is weaker than what he had and continues to use his old exorcist tricks.
