The official Twitter account for author Nachi Kio and illustrator Eretto announced that the Remake Our Life! anime will premiere in 2021.

The author and illustrator of the light novel series, Bokutachi no Remake (Remake Our Life!) revealed on Wednesday that the previously announced project is now confirmed to air in 2021.

So far, no further details about the cast and staff of the anime have been revealed.

The first compiled volume for the novels was released by Kadokawa in March 2017. The novels turned out to be a hit ranking #6 on the list of top light novels in Takarajimasha’s Kono Light Novel ga Sugoi in 2018 and #7 in 2019.

The person-in-charge of art for the manga, Bonjin Hirameki launched a manga adaptation of the novel series on Kodansha’s Suiyōbi no Sirius (Wednesday Sirius) section on the Niconico service in November 2018.

The story follows an unsuccessful Kyoya, who lives a miserable life after going bankrupt. Accidently, he turns back time to when he was 18, and his chance to right all his wrongs has come!

Remake Our Life! a romantic comedy light novel series written by Kionachi and illustrated by Eretto. Media Factory has published seven volumes and two spin-off volumes since March 2017 under their MF Bunko J imprint.

A manga adaptation with art by Bonjin Hirameki has been serialized via Kodansha’s Niconico-based Suiyōbi no Sirius manga service since November 2018.

It has been collected in three tankōbon volumes. An anime television series adaptation has been announced and is set to air in 202.

Kyoya Hasiba, an unsuccessful game director goes bankrupt after his company fails to take off. It leads him to return to his parents’ home.

While taking a nap in his old bedroom thinking about the other successful game creators of his generation, he time-slips ten years into his past without his own knowledge.

He considers this as his second chance at life and takes it to remake his life. Now, an 18-something Arts college student, he shares a house with four other people.

Though he considers this an opportunity to change the decisions he made in his formative life, things don’t quite turn out the way he wanted to.
