Pokémon: Twilight Wings Episode 5 DELAYED, New Release Date

The Pokémon franchise is an all-time favourite for all generations and continues to garner attention after decades.

The much-awaited 5th episode of Pokémon: Twilight Wings has been delayed due to the COVID-19 threat.

The 6 min short net-series has been gaining steady popularity amongst the fans since it’s debut on January 15th this year.

The 5th episode of the popular short-online series was supposed to be released this month but failed to do so because of the ongoing pandemic.

Instead, the episode will be released on June 5th (as for now). The delay has been announced through the official Twitter account of Pokémon: Twilight Wings.

[Notice] The 5th episode of the original anime work “Tsubame no Tsubasa” scheduled to be released in May has been postponed due to the spread of the new coronavirus infection at 14:00 on June 5 (Friday). I will do it. We sincerely apologize to everyone who has been looking forward to it.

The anime series is produced by Studio Colorado and streams on Youtube every month. This particular series has been inspired by and adapted from the Pokémon Sword and Shield video games.

The full series is supposed to consist of 7 episodes, each showcasing the youth of the Galar region. Galar is a fictional region that attaches importance to its Pokémon Championships, much like some football/cricket-crazy countries in real life.

About Pokémon:

Pokemon, first released in 1996, is set up in a world where humans catch monsters and store them in pocket-sized poke-balls, thus the name Pocket Monsters or Pokemon.

They are creatures with an affinity to certain elements and some superhuman abilities related to that particular element.

Revolving around a teenage boy Ash Ketchum, it takes us through his journey to becoming the most accomplished Pokemon trainer the world has ever seen.
