Pokemon New Anime Teases Upcoming Fight With Champion Leon

When it comes to pocket monsters and evolving them into their mega forms, the first franchise which comes to mind is Pokemon with its long-running anime series and highly popular games such as Pokemon GO and Pokemon X and Y, and Detective Pikachu like fun movies.

Pokemon anime fans recently got treated to a new protagonist, Go, in its latest addition: Pokemon: The Series. The game introduced a brand new region to the franchise: the Galar region. 

The synopsis of the upcoming episode was translated and posted by a Twitter user @Arkeus88. It is teasing a future fight between the two Kanto region champions: Lance and Leon.

English translated synopsis:

“Ash and Go have come to the Galar region to watch the finals of the ‘Pokemon World Championships,’ the tournament that determines the world’s best at Pokemon battling. The two trainers competing in the finals are both attracting high amounts of attention; Lance, the winner of the Elite Four Cup in the Kanto region, and the undefeated Leon, a superstar of the Galar region. Ash and Go are both super pumped as they’re waiting for this battle where they’ll get to see the immense power of Dynamaxed Pokemon! This is a world-class battle between the absolute best of the best!! Who will win, [Charizard], or Gyarados?!”

The new Galar series highlights the Kanto region Pokemon. Still, it isn’t limited to just Pokemon but focuses highly on the gym leaders as well, and two such champions from the Kanto region are Lance and Leon. A bout between the two has been long anticipated from fans, and it quickly climbed up the trend ladder on the internet as soon as the synopsis came out.

Pokémon: Twilight Wings is a Japanese anime series produced by Studio Colorido and released on YouTube by The Pokémon Company. It is a series inspired by the Pokémon Sword and Shield titles of the Pokémon video games. Still, it is not a part of the television series, similar to the other animations Origins and Generations.

Each episode focuses on a different character and is connected by a boy named John. He has been in the hospital since his childhood and is a die-hard fan of Champion Leon. This is a 7 episode series where each episode is supposed to be around 5 mins in length.
