Petrification Device Runs Out of Juice In Dr. Stone Manga

The device responsible for the petrification of the human race 3700 years ago, dubbed “Dr. Stone”, was won over by Senku recently in the manga.

With hopes of using the healing powers of the de-petrification process, Senku and the team headed towards Ishigami village to heal Tsukasa. 

However, chapter 141, titled “First Team,” shows that the device is now useless for the time being. The petrification device was almost out of energy, and the last bit of it has been used to heal Tsukasa’s injuries from his fight against Hyoga.

The chapter starts with Senku’s team returning to Ishigami village after obtaining the petrification device, platinum, and some new friends.

With their plan to heal Tsukasa’s injuries from the fight against Hyoga, Taiju comes up with an apt name for the petrification device.

Given the healing powers of the de-petrification process, the device was given the name “Dr. Stone.” Since the petrification device was used on a vast range to petrify anyone left on the island, it had almost been depleted of all its charges.

The little that was left was used to revive Tsukasa and repair his injuries, thus making the device useless for the time being.

With Tsukasa now on the team to confront Why-man on the Moon, the science kingdom might win against this threat.

Chapter 142 will most likely show Senku explaining the science team the inner workings of a rocket and create a blueprint for them to follow step by step.
