One-Punch Man Season 2 Coming To Netflix This Quarantine Season

The adventures of our favorite Caped Baldy, Saitama, in the superhero parody anime series One Punch Man, took an unexpected deeper turn when they showed the emptiness in Saitama’s heart after achieving the pinnacle of strength.

Season two of the show, revolving around the Hero Hunter Garou, was launched on Hulu in April 2019. Fans have been waiting for the English dub and looks like they don’t have to wait anymore.

Netflix is officially releasing One Punch Man’s second season on its streaming platform starting 30th April.

The season will revolve around Garou, the Hero Hunter, and introduce a previously unknown organization — The Monster Association, a parallel of The Hero Association.

Despite the strong and engaging storyline, the animation of One Punch Man’s season two was criticized upon release. It is unclear whether there will be any significant change in quality, now that the show is being added to Netflix. Still, either way, it is definitely worth the watch.

The season introduces one of Bang’s (Rank 3 Hero) pupils who have gone rogue. He uses the art of the Flowing Water Crushing Rock, the same as his master.

Garou, while being nowhere close to Saitama in strength, has an undeniable devilish aura to him. His ability to adapt is perhaps his greatest strength, as he seems to grow exponentially from every near-death experience he has.

Sick and tired of the current balance between what people consider Heroes and Villains, he decides to step up and is aiming to take down the entire Hero Association single-handedly.

While that might seem like an impossible dream with heroes like Tatsumaki still alive, his fights against the top tier heroes send a shiver down my spine.

Buckle up, folks! A wild ride is about to start on 30th April.

About One Punch Man:

One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero webcomic created by the artist One in early 2009. It has a manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata, as well as an anime adaptation.

Saitama, an unassociated hero, hails from the metropolis of City-Z and performs heroic deeds for his entertainment. He has trained himself to the point where he broke his “limit” and can effortlessly defeat any opponent with a single punch while slaying monsters the same way.

But he is now bored with his omnipotence and frustrated by sensing he lacks a challenge.
