The manga has been adapting the Monster Association arc for a while and is planning to put an end to it in the coming chapters. Since it’s such a huge arc, it’s only natural that the creators get a break after winding it up.

Not to forget, the whole team will now have to focus on the anime’s new season and will need some time to set things up.

Following this hectic schedule, Yusuke Murata has announced that the One-Punch Man manga will go on a 1-month hiatus before the new arc begins.

It’s a new series from next time, but I’m going to take a break for about a month from now on. We will notify you as soon as the scheduled publication date of the new episode is decided.

With so much going on in the franchise, the illustrator decided to take a break for the time being. The staff will announce the manga’s return date as soon as it’s settled.

After the Monster Association arc, the manga will begin with the Neo Heroes Saga. The first arc in this storyline is the Psychic Sisters arc, which focuses on Tatsumaki and Fubuki.

Tatsumaki is considered one of the strongest heroes in the Hero Association and is Fubuki’s older sister and teacher. Fubuki is also known as Blizzard or Blizzard of Hell, while Tatsumaki has received the title of Tornado or Tornado of Terror.

The sisters have strong psychic powers that can scare even the finest of heroes, except Saitama of course.

In the upcoming manga arc, you can safely expect a face-off between Tatsumaki and Saitama. This battle is something inevitable and has been foreshadowed on multiple occasions.

As for Fubuki, she has already declared herself as a part of Saitama’s group and respects him a lot. I wonder if this might be why the sisters get into a feud.

About One Punch Man

One-Punch Man is a Japanese superhero webcomic created by the artist One in early 2009. It has a manga adaptation illustrated by Yusuke Murata, as well as an anime adaptation. Following its publication, the webcomic quickly went viral, surpassing 7.9 million hits in June 2012.

On an unnamed Earth-like supercontinent planet, powerful monsters and villains have been wreaking havoc in the cities. To combat them, the world’s government created a Hero Association that employs superheroes to stop them. The heroes are ranked from Class C to Class S.

Saitama, an unassociated hero, hails from the metropolis of City-Z and performs heroic deeds for his own entertainment. He has trained himself to the point where he broke his “limit” and can effortlessly defeat any opponent with a single punch while slaying monsters the same way. But he is now bored with his omnipotence and frustrated by sensing he lacks a challenge.
