This 900+ chapter series is often regarded as the King of Manga because of it being the highest-grossing manga for a decade.
One Piece released chapter 992 on Sunday, titled “Remnants” So, it’s time to discuss the release date, scans, and other details for chapter 993.
1. Chapter 993 Raw Scans, Leaks & Spoilers
Raw scans for the Chapter 993 of the One Piece manga have been leaked. The title for the chapter is “Wano Country’s Dream.”
The chapter starts by showing us the festivities going on across Wano in the absence of Orochi’s subordinates. Everyone is rooting for the rebellion alliance and fantasizing about the epic battle going on in Onigashima.
The scene shifts back to Wano where we find out about Queen’s most deadly weapon – Ice Demon Bullets. These bullets, upon coming in contact with people, turn them into Ice Demons who hunt down others and infect them as well.
Luffy, along with Sanji, is still on his way to Onigashima’s dome. We see Sanji and Jinbei trying their best to keep Luffy out of trouble so that he can conserve his strength for the final battle.
Bao Huang, Kaido’s secretary, keeps track of Momonosuke’s position and reports it to King, who then gives out orders to the Tobi Roppo to retrieve Momonosuke’s head.
Momonosuke and Shinobu, who are still on the run from Yamato, come across Sasaki. His men try to take down Shinobu, but they are stopped by Yamato.
The scene shifts to the roof of Onigashima, where Kaido’s dragon form is laying on the ground with his bleeding wounds. He gets up and criticizes the strength of the Red Scabbards, calling their cuts “too shallow.” He then roars, which creates wind scythes.
The chapter ends as Kiku’s arm is cut off from one of these scythes.

2. Chapter 993 Speculations/Predictions
Chapter 987 officially kicked off the war on Onigashima. With the declaration of an all out war against Kaido, Big Mom, and Orochi, Luffy drew a lot of attention to himself.
Since there is a lot going on at the same time, it is more than likely that we will see parallel storylines instead of just one.
I. Kaido’s Human Form
Chapter 992 ended with the Red Scabbards landing a hefty blow on Kaido’s scar. Kaido’s eyes turned white from pain at the end of this attack.
As we can see from Kaido’s previous battles, his Zoan form preference is Dragon -> Human -> Hybrid.
It is very likely that Kaido will return to his Human form in the upcoming chapters and turn the tables on the Red Scabbards pushing him back.
II. Drake Joins the Rebellion
Chapter 990 showed us that X Drake has been kicked out of the Beast Pirates. For helping Law escape the prison, X Drake is now being hunted by Queen.
In this desperate situation, Drake reached out to Luffy to let him help in defeating the Beast Pirates.
Knowing Luffy, he will be able to sense the good intentions emanating from Drake and will let him join the rebellion forces.
While this is not a major help to the rebellion, they need every last bit of power they can to take down the Beast Pirates.
III. Big Mom’s Return
Wano’s matchups are turning out to be even messier than the matchups in Marineford. With so many insanely strong characters gathered in one place, we are bound to witness chaos.
Chapter 988 ended with Franky ramming his Kurosai motorbike into Big Mom’s face. The very next chapter, the duo of Robin & Jinbei sent Big Mom rolling out of the battle area.
Big Mom is not one to be kicked out of the fight so easily, she will return soon and will be a force to be reckoned with.

Chapter 992, titled “Remnants,” starts by showing Big Mom, Persopero and Marco meeting at the entrance to Onigashima.
After Nico Robin rolled her away, Big Mom ran into Perospero and Marco who announced that they’re in a temporary alliance.
Perospero tries to convince Big Mom to end her alliance with Kaido, but she refuses saying that she is still aiming to become the Pirate Queen.
After this conversation, Marco and Perospero part ways since Perospero isn’t after Kaido anymore. As this scene ends, Carrot runs towards Perospero in hopes of avenging Pedro.
We cut to the battle scene, where Luffy is running towards the castle. Shinobu and Momonosuke are still running away from Yamato. Black Maria is waiting at the upper floor, playing a song for her subordinates.
The scene then shifts to Kaido’s fight against the Scabbards. After multiple attacks from both sides, Kaido wonders why their attacks are hurting him even though their power is negligible in comparison to Oden.
This segways into a brief flashback showing Oden trying to teach his two sword style and Ryou to the Scabbards. However, they refuse as they already have their fighting styles.
Back to the present, Kinemon, Denjiro, Inuarashi and Ashura pull out 2 swords and do the “Oden Nitoryuu” pose. Then they all attack Kaidou together using “Togen Totsuka”, striking Kaidou at exactly the same spot Oden did in the past.

Apart from the main storyline in the manga chapters, One Piece also advances the storyline by featuring scenes around the world in the form of cover stories.
Chapter 992’s takes a break from cover stories to show a double page color spread with strong references to Japan’s Kumamoto Prefecture. The color spread shows the Straw hat Pirates having a party on a train.
At the back of the train, we see Kumamoto Prefecture’s mascot Kumamon hanging out with Franky. We can also see a painting on the train showing Kumamoto Castle.
