No Guns Life second cour to air in July 2020 following delay

No Guns Life is a split cour anime based on the manga by the same name. Its first cour aired from October to December 2019, and the second cour was scheduled to release on April 9th this year.

However, it was delayed due to the coronavirus threat.

The official website for the anime has announced the new release date. The anime will air sometime in July 2020 and will be broadcast on TBS and other channels. Any other related information will be uploaded later as the schedule is confirmed.

The original manga is written and illustrated by Tasuku Karasuma. It was published by Shueisha in August 2014.

It was later adapted as an anime by Studio Madbones. It is supposed to have 24 episodes and the first half already aired in winter, last year. The opening theme song is “Chaos Drifters” by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk] and Jean-Ken Johnny. The ending theme song is “New World” by THIS IS JAPAN.

The anime is directed by Naoyuki Itō (Overlord series director) and written by Yukie Sugawara. The music composer is Kenji Kawai and the character design is by Masanori Shino.

The anime is of the cyberpunk genre, and its first season has caused quite a lot of excitement among fans. We look forward to the second cour and hope it portrays fresh plot developments.

About No Guns Life

No Guns Life is a 2019 TV anime series based on the manga series of the same, directed by Itou Naoyuki, Madhouse Studios.

The story is set in a future world where many humans have been technologically modified and are called “Extends.” After a major war is over, former soldiers who are extended start committing crimes. Juzo Inui is a ‘resolver’ who makes a living by solving such cases.
