Mysterious New Teaser Revealed for Original Anime, ‘Revenger’

Original anime are the most unexpected series, yet the most anticipated ones. Why? I’m guessing that the lack of plot details leads to a more suspenseful situation, drawing fans to them.

Similarly. Nitroplus and Shochiku’s latest announced anime is making head turns with its mysterious trailer and lack of information.

Nitroplus, a visual novel developer and distributor, Shochiku, have teamed up to give rise to an original anime named Revenger. Nothing about this series is clear yet except that the protagonist carries a sword.

The release date, staff, cast, and even the plot are yet to be revealed, so you can probably guess that we are trading with very little here.

Of course, a new trailer has been released, but I doubt how much you can gather from it.

The tagline in the video is “I cut down people to fight against a cruel fate.” A lone warrior is shown, and judging from the title, the person wants revenge for himself or others.

You can also check out a cool visual which shows the dashing protagonist of the upcoming anime:

It might just be another mainstream shonen anime with action elements, a sense of righteousness, and impeccable looks. It definitely looks like the protagonist will be popular among fans, but that is only if the anime can distinguish itself from others in its genre.

Will this mysterious hero debut with a good plot, or will it suffer the same fate as the multiple isekai that get lost in the crown every year?
