The story of ‘Nisekoi’ starts with Raku Ichigo’s promise to his childhood love to get married. However, ten years later, things get way too complicated. His yakuza background pushes him to date Chitoge Kirisaki. the daughter of the rival gang’s leader to maintain peace between families.
Fans loved both the manga and the anime as it showed Raku’s love quest while coping with a fake relationship. Now after eight years of concluding, the manga gets a new chapter.
On Wednesday, Shueisha’s Comic Bunko label announced on its official Twitter account that ‘Nisekoi: False Love’ will get a new Bunko paperback edition. The new set will also contain a bonus story set ten years after the main story.
The new bunko edition will have 16 volumes with new cover art for each volume. Out of these, the first 14 will contain the main story and the remaining two will contain the novel series ‘Nisekoi: Urabana’ and the bonus epilogue story.
The first two bunko volumes will be released on June 16, with the later volumes arriving on the 18th of every month.
Originally, the ‘Nisekoi: False Love’ manga had 25 volumes, with the final volume released on October 4, 2016. The manga also inspired a light novel series, a magical-girl spin-off manga, voice comics, a live-action film, and an anime series that ran for two seasons.
A lot of fans were divided about the ending of the manga. Moreover, the final chapter took a time leap which, to some, felt out of place. So, a new chapter would surely ease the tension and give the readers a more fulfilling experience.
