New Star Wars movie with Marvel Studios

The journey for Star Wars hasn’t been all fun and games since Kathleen Kennedy was appointed President of Lucasfilm following Disney’s acquisition of the company back in 2012. The revenue collection has still been great with the Force AwakensRogue OneThe Last Jedi and Solo earning almost $5 billion worldwide. Things however are not the same in the post-George Lucas era. The movies have sometimes been widely criticized by fans as well as plagued by numerous issues behind the scenes.

Star Wars is arguably one of the biggest and most recognisable franchises ever and therefore it is challenging to please everyone with emotions also running high and expectations always being unreasonable. Now Disney owns Star Wars and the studio is trying its best to create and innovate to keep fans satisfied.

The Hollywood Reporter says that Marvel Studios’ president Kevin Feige will develop a new Star Wars film for Disney alongside Kennedy. It’s unclear which movie this will be, but speaking to THR, here’s what Walt Disney Studios co-chairman Alan Horn had to share:

“We are excited about the projects Kathy and the Lucasfilm team are working on, not only in terms of Star Wars but also Indiana Jones and reaching into other parts of the company including Children of Blood and Bone with Emma Watts and Fox. With the close of the Skywalker Saga, Kathy is pursuing a new era in Star Wars storytelling, and knowing what a die-hard fan Kevin is, it made sense for these two extraordinary producers to work on a Star Wars film together.”

Things are changing for Star Wars as they are getting Disney+ shows and now with some part of Feige in Star War Projects, things could be awesome. We don’t know about his role in the unknown project and fans have to wait.
