‘Code Geass Genesic Re;Code’ Game to End Service in April

On January 31, the official website for the Code Geass: Genesic Re; CODE smartphone game announced that it would end its service on April 27 at 3:00 p.m. JST. Starting February 1, sales of paid Daito, daily passes, and boost passes will end.

Access to the game from outside Japan will be temporarily suspended, but the game’s main story, the “Line Arc,” will continue until the game’s service ends.

The game will issue refunds to players for unused paid Daito after the service ends, where a secret code verification window will appear for players. The game’s app distribution, support, and acceptance of refund applications will end on June 30th.

The Code Geass game was originally launched in October 2021 after several delays. The role-playing game features characters from the anime projects, such as Lelouch, Akito, and others, to allow players to experience various stories from throughout the franchise.

The gameplay consists of both role-playings as well as simulation elements. Additionally, the game features brand-new, original story scenarios from leading writers and consists of numerous original exclusive illustrations.

The game has been termed “the official sequel to the Code Geass franchise” by the ode Geass staff.

The game stars Shun Horie as a boy with no memories named AI, Yuki Takada as the mysterious girl Gigi, and Yumiri Hanamori as Archive, the librarian of the memory library.

The Code Geass anime is still available to stream on Crunchyroll. The synopsis of the anime as described by Crunchyroll:

The year is 2017 of the Imperial calendar and parts of the world are under the control of the Holy Britannian Empire.

Lelouch Lamperouge, an exiled Britannian prince, encounters a strange girl known as C.C., who gifts him with a great and terrible power. The Geass.
