Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan follows a character who is not from the Joestar bloodline.

Netflix has announced that the four episodes of the Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan original video animation (OVA) will be streamed in spring 2021.

The OVAs are animated by Studio David Productions. The series features the character Rohan Kishibe who first appears in the Diamond Is Unbreakable saga. Rohan is also considered the alter-ego of Hirohiko Araki himself. 

The four episodes of the OVA include:

  • Millionaire Village (2017)
  • Mutsu-kabe Hill (July 2018)
  • At a Confessional (December 2019)
  • The Run (December 2019)

Kishibe Rohan is a manga artist who doesn’t like to play by the books. In order to add more realism to his stories, he likes to travel the world and experience it by himself. He has the ability to read a person and alter their memories and behavior.

The four episodes feature his different adventures as he travels to bizarre places. He uses his special power to save himself and his companion by reading the memories of others.

Thus Spoke Kishibe Rohan is also being adapted into a television drama. It will be aired on NHK General TV on 28th December 2020.

About Jojo’s Bizarre Adventures

JoJo’s Bizarre Adventure is a manga series written and illustrated by Hirohiko Araki. The series is divided into eight parts, each following the adventures of a new protagonist bearing the “JoJo” nickname.

The first six parts form a saga detailing the supernatural conflicts between members of the Joestar family and various villains. The latter two parts follow a continuity reboot, taking place in an alternate universe with many parallels to the original.
