The cult classic is a part of the weeb community’s holy grail, and I am pretty excited about the upcoming adaptation. Now, I know that many of you might have doubts that the company will massacre its true essence, but the show’s latest trailer gives me a bit of hope that it won’t let us down.

If you don’t believe me, then see for yourself.

Netflix released a stunning trailer for its upcoming Cowboy Bebop live-action series during its recent live stream. The show will be premiering on November 19, 2021.

The trailer is an epic mix of scenes from the show that portray Spike Spiegel’s personality and the show’s premise. We also catch glimpses of his affair with Julia and his iconic fight with Vicious.

There are moments of Spike and Faye Valentine’s banter and them being annoyed with each other, which provides some comic relief. The trailer is fabricated so that Spike gives a vague and mysterious answer to various questions that people ask him. This makes the watchers even more curious about what’s the deal with him.

We’re also greeted with some fantastic cyber-punk and space aesthetic visuals and several cool spaceships and weapons. This is truly a show for every crime, mystery, and sci-fi lover.

Moreover, the streaming platform revealed a key visual featuring Spike, Faye, and Jet Black in a deserted countryside setting.

All three of them are donning a fierce and intimidating expression giving a clear message that they’re prepared for everything that comes their way.

Although many people are disappointed with live-action, I am genuinely curious about how it will turn out. But the trailer looks promising enough, so I guess it’s worth a watch.

About Cowboy Bebop

Cowboy Bebop is a Japanese animated science-fiction television series animated by Sunrise. The series premiered in Japan on TV Tokyo from April 3 until June 26, 1998, broadcasting only twelve episodes and a special due to its controversial adult-themed content.

Set in the year 2071, roughly 50 years following a calamity (that’s nearly 2020!) that makes Earth uninhabitable, the series follows 5 of a crew of bounty hunters.

With humans scattered across Earth’s immediate cosmos, Inter Solar System Police hires the likes of this crew to help hunt criminals. For the right price, these rag tags will even save the world if need be.
