Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker reveals Kakashi as 19th DLC Character

Bandai Namco Entertainment is a Japanese video game developer and publisher. The company has been responsible for publishing various game adaptations of the Naruto Series.

Bandai Namco Entertainment has published the whole Naruto Ultimate Ninja series. This also includes the extremely popular Naruto: Ultimate Ninja Storm series.

The combined 33rd and 34th issue of this year’s Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that Kakashi Hatake (both Sharingan version) would be the 19th DLC character for Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker game.

Kakashi will be a part of the game’s third season pass, which will include DLC 19-23.

Boruto was first introduced to the Bandai Namco game series as the Road to Boruto Expansion pack in Naruto Shippūden: Ultimate Ninja Storm 4. The Naruto sequel finally received its game version as a four vs four multiplayer game, Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker.

Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker was released in August 2018 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC via Stream in the Americas, Europe, and Southeast Asia.

The game’s first season pass included 9 DLC packs and the “Great Sages of the Mount Myouboku” accessory. Playable DLC characters included:

  1. The Legendary Sannin
  2. Jiraiya
  3. Orochimaru
  4. Tsunade
  5. The Hokages
  6. Minato Namikaze
  7. Sarutobi
  8. Tobirama Senju
  9. Hashirama Senju
  10. Obito Uchiha
  11. Madara Uchiha

The game’s second season pass included:

  • Zabuza Momochi
  • Haku, Ohnoki
  • Killer Bee
  • Sasuke Uchiha (from Boruto)
  • Ino Yamanaka
  • Might Guy
  • Mei Terumi
  • Naruto Uzumaki (From Boruto).

Bandai Namco Entertainment America describes the game as:

“Naruto to Boruto: Shinobi Striker is a high-speed four vs. four multiplayer title that encourages cooperative play through the use of character-specific roles.

Characters are split up into four roles: Attack, Ranged, Defense, and Heal. Teams that utilize these four types of characters will be formidable opponents on the battlefield.”

About Boruto

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is written and illustrated by Mikio Ikemoto, and supervised by Masashi Kishimoto himself. It came into serialization in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in June 2016.

Boruto: Naruto Next Generations is the series that follows the exploits of Naruto’s son, Boruto, during his academy days and further on.

The series follows the character development of Boruto and the looming evil that challenges the fate of him and his loved ones.
