Chapter 277 (titled “Who…”) of My Hero Academia was released on 5th July, and it showed Shigaraki trying to fight against the voice of All For One, and fans are eagerly waiting for the next chapter.

However, the release date of chapter 278 of My Hero Academia was updated on the Manga Plus website, and it will be released on 19th July instead of 12th. The manga will apparently go on a one week break.

The official Twitter account of Weekly Shonen Jump also posted a tweet announcing the one week break of the manga.

Thus the chapter will not be available on the 32nd issue of Weekly Shonen Jump and come out on the 33-34th issue.

The reason for the break is not confirmed yet. The tweet explains that the release date is not yet certain, so fans have to wait for further information.

[SPOILER] Chapter 277 of My Hero Academia had quite a few twists. Deku uses the black whip to throw Shigaraki off guard while Bakugou creates an explosion.

Aizawa’s erase quirk is keeping Shigaraki’s decay at bay; thus, the heroes decide to protect Aizawa.

Shigaraki hallucinates hearing a voice of All For One and resists giving in to it. The scene shifts to the Gunga Mountain Villa, where Mt. Lady is preventing Gigantomachia from reaching Shigaraki.

Chapter 278 is speculated to open with the battle of Mt. Lady against Gigantomachia so that the other students can escape.

Deku and Bakugou will try to protect Aizawa with all their powers as he is the one because of whom the heroes can fight Shigaraki. The other heroes will fight against the nomus.

Fans are worried about Horikoshi’s health, and some are speculating the next chapter to be longer than the others since it will appear on the 33+34th issue of WSJ, which covers chapters for two weeks.
