The key visual shows the lead vocalists of previously introduced bands such as Kokoro Tsurumaki from Hello Happy World!Yukina Minato from Roselia, Aya Maruyama from Pastel Palettes, Ran Mitake from Afterglow, Kasumi Toyama from Poppin’ Party.

The upcoming second Live Film also introduces the lead vocalists from two new bands, Layer from Raise A Suilen and Mashiro Kurata from Morfronica.

The 30-second teaser video introduces the lead vocalists of the various bands, indicating that their groups would play a role in the upcoming film.

The bands’ Poppin’ Party, Afterglow, Pastel Palettes, Roselia, and Hello, Happy World! appeared in the first film and the BanG Dream! anime series with the same voice actors.

The new film’s trailer introduces Morfonica and Raise A Suilen.

These bands are not new to the franchise’s anime series but are being established in the film for the first time along with the previous bands joining them in the second film.

Additionally, the franchise has announced a two-part film called “BanG Dream!: Episode of Roselia”. The film is set to release in Japan in 2021, and as the title suggests, the story focuses on the band members, Roselia.

About BanG Dream!

BanG Dream! is a mix-media music franchise produced by Bushiroad in 2015.

It first started as a manga and then adapted into an anime before forming bands to perform in concerts and creating mobile games.

The main cast of the BanG Dream! Comprises seven bands of five members each.

The protagonist of the series is the band Poppin Party, which debuted in 2015 followed by debuts of Afterglow, Pastel*Palettes, Roselia, Hello, Happy World!, Raise A Suilen, and Morfonica.

The members of the bands are the voice actors to the characters and hold concerts.
