The much-awaited showdown between Moriarty and his arch-nemesis, Sherlock Holmes, is finally here! Moriarty the Patriot’s second cour will be a sight to behold as two of the greatest masterminds in literary history will clash again, but this time with a twist!
However, as the anime reaches its second cour, the manga is nearing its conclusion. Will Holmes be able to crack Moriarty’s plan and stop him? Who will emerge the elite manipulator in this series?
The official website of Moriarty the Patriot has released a new key visual for the second cour of the anime, which will air in April 2021. The second cour will have 13 episodes.
The visual shows Moriarty and Sherlock standing back-to-back against each other with London in the background. Moriarty’s intentions are clear as his side of the city is ablaze.
Moriarty will leave no stone unturned to reach his vision of “a new world built from the ashes of the old.”
Takeuchi Ryousuke and Miyoshi Hikaru have released a new full-colored page in the latest issue of Jump SQ for the Moriarty the Patriot manga. The page is revealed to celebrate the manga reaching the climax of its final arc.
The manga will end with its 14th volume that will be published in April 2021.
A grave disparity can be noticed between the anime’s visual and the color page for the manga. A sense of rivalry was clear between Holmes and Moriarty in the first visual, but they are sheltering each other in the second one.
It is almost as if the situation has been reversed, and they are currently in need of support from each other. This visual makes us even more interested in the ending of the manga.
