While having all the typical elements of a shonen anime, the plot also gives us a plethora of awesome characters and arcs that we can’t get enough of.

The anime’s first season gained immense popularity as soon as it premiered and started competing with others of the genre like MHA and Demon Slayer.

Not to mention, it soon became renowned worldwide that even non-otakus came to know who Gojo-sensei is.

While we did get a new movie from the franchise, we can’t wait to watch more of Yuji, Nobara, and Megumi, and I know most will agree with me on this.

MBS television channel’s president Yoichi Mushiaki told fans about a possible season 2 for Jujutsu Kaisen during an online conference held on January 19, 2022.

Mushiaki commented that while a solid plan cannot be confirmed yet, they’ll try to meet the expectations.

The president also told the fans to wait for more official details and assured them that they’d develop a plan to provide an even more spectacular production.

Being a manga reader, I can tell you a little about what you can expect from the potential new season. Firstly, it’s going to be mind-blowing and absolutely thrilling.

The season will most likely adapt the Gojo’s Past arc, which I’m sure most of us are looking forward to.

It’s highly possible for the anime to bring this next after the prequel movie Jujutsu Kaisen 0, as it will set the tone for the upcoming events.

Yes, the upcoming events mean the dreadful Shibuya Incident arc that will introduce many characters from the past, and we’ll need to be well versed in the history of the Jujutsu world.

I know all of this waiting is hard, but if it is rushed, all we will get is an incomplete and unsatisfactory story along with lame animation. I mean, is this what we want from our favorite anime?

If not, then I suggest we all practice patience. And if you can’t, then reading the manga is always an option.
