Maesetsu! Opening Act Season 1 DELAYED Due to COVID-19 Pandemic

The coronavirus threat is forcing people to stay in quarantine, which has affected the anime industry as well with episodes and releases getting postponed.

Fans understand the concern for safety, yet it’s hard not to get discouraged by the continuous delay.

The release date for the upcoming anime Maesetsu!-Opening Act has been delayed to October 2020. The original release date was in July 2020. The delay was announced through the official website of Maesetsu! on May 22.

The anime will be broadcast on TOKYO MX, AT-X, and other stations. The creators have promised improved work keeping in mind the health of the staff as well.

Maesetsu! is an anime of the comedy and slice of life genre based on the lives of four young-adult girls. These girls are trying to fulfill their dreams while navigating through their daily lives.

The cast for the anime is :

  • Fubuki Kitakaze – Aguri Ōnishi (Miss Koizumi loves Ramen noodles)
  • Mafuyu Kogarashi – Naomi Ōzora (Charlotte in One Piece)
  • Rin Araya – Hiromi Igarashi (Yuka Koyama in Baka and Test)
  • Nayuta Asōgi – Sakura Nakamura (Why the hell are you here Teacher!? OVA)

The anime is directed by Yuu Nobuta. The story is by Touko Machida, Shōta Gotō, and Joe Itou. Satoru Kōsaki, Oliver Good, and Keita Inoue are for music. Studio AXsiZ and Studio Gokumi are the producers.

The praiseworthy illustrations are by Kagami Yoshimizu (author of manga Lucky Star). The chief animation directors are Naoki Yamauchi and Masaru Koseki.

The creators of the anime are trying their best in these hard times to bring us our favorite anime. So let’s keep our hopes up and wait for Maesetsu!.
