Love Me, Love Me Not Trailer

Toshimasa Kuroyanagi will direct the film at A-1 Pictures with Erika Yoshida writing the script. Yuu Yamashita has been credited with the character designs n while Yuuji Nomi is composing the music.

The live-action film adaptation will feature Minami Hamabe as Akari Yamamoto, Takumi Kitamura as Rio Yamamoto, Riko Fukumoto as Yuna Ichihara, and Eiji Akaso as Kazuomi Inui. Takahiro Miki will be directing the film with Miki and Yōko Yonaiyama writing the script.

About Love, Me, Love Me Not

Love Me, Love Me Not is a manga by Io Sakisaka that began serialization in Shueisha’s Bessatsu Margaret from June 13, 2015. The manga concluded with 12 compiled volumes on May 13, 2019.

The story revolves around Yuna Ichihara, who is about to enter her first year of high school and doesn’t want to be separated from her best friend Sacchan, who is moving away.

One day on her way to the train station, she gets stopped by a random girl who asks her for money to pay her train fare. The girl gives Yuna her bracelet as a promise to pay her back tomorrow.

The girl reveals herself to be Akari and returns Yuna her money. They head home together only to find out that they live in the same apartment building and become friends.

However, they soon find out Yuna may be in love with Akari’s brother and Akari in love with Yuna’s childhood friend.
